About Me
Music has always been a huge part of my life.
Driving to school, my mum and I would harmonise with every song that came on the radio. That was my first introduction to singing.
I went to college to study music playing piano as my main instrument. It wasn't until I was asked to fill in as a singer that I discovered that I could actually sing!
From college I went on to study music at University. In that time I spent a summer in New York interning at Universal Records in the marketing department (honestly, the best summer ever).
After Uni I stepped away from music for a number of years. I would write and record music in my own time but it never left the sanctuary of my bedroom.
Fast forward a few years and I started to sing in a few different bands - originals and covers. From there I found myself joining a group and performing most weekends on the Working Mens Club circuit. We had a good 5 years singing in clubs before I felt it was time for something new.
I wanted to perform the music I grew up listening to - Mainly R&B. I formed a new duo and we sung together for around 2 years before I fell pregnant.
I married my partner of 13 years in 2025 and we welcomed a gorgeous little girl in 2026! Having her is what inspired me and finally gave me the courage to follow my heart and pursue a solo career.
So here I am! A new mum, a lifelong musician, and a woman finally choosing her own voice. And this is just the start...

Melodies That Shaped Me
The best way to get to know me is to know the music that I grew up with.
In jazz, I’m rooted in the voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Etta James and Chet Baker. Artists whose phrasing, emotion and elegance set the foundation for everything I love.
In soul, I’m inspired by the greats; Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire. Storytellers and innovators of timeless classics.
And in R&B, I live for the 90s and 00s. The old‑school grooves and the all round vibes. But today’s artists shape me just as much; Cleo Sol, Snoh Aalegra, Hop Tala and my ultimate inspiration, Sasha Keable.
All these artists have soul and charisma and that’s the kind of vocalist I am, and the kind I’m growing into.
